Unable to do code extension on Inbound Transportation Management (ITM) model in D365 FO

Hi, I'm working in a project where there are a few requirements that need to modify on top of arrival journal, Landed cost > Shipping containers > All shipping containers > Manage > Functions > Create arrival journal.

I notice most of the objects are on ITM model and mainly the classes objects has the 'internal' keyword that make it not extensible. Can I know how can I achieve this? How can I modify the classes and business logic on top of ITM model?

Unable to do code extension on Inbound Transportation Management (ITM) model in D365 FO

Internal classes can't be extended in other packages. You either find a way how to achieve what you need without extending internal classes, or you need to ask Microsoft to make the code extensible (by logging an extensibility request).

Finding a way how to extend code is sometimes challenging and may require creative thinking. But sometimes it's simply impossible. There is no universal answer; it always depends on the particular scenario (what you want to extend and how).
