POS2009 customer getting error "MS Dynamics POS2009 has encountered an problem and needs to close down when the enter the tendered amount and try to process. Looking at the POSTrace.log I find that "an unhandled exception occurred. Source: mscorlib, Msg: External Component has thrown an exception at System.Globalization.CompareInfo.CompareRegion." and then a stack trace.
Looking at their regional settings on the machine, things look normal - set to United States, etc. Doesn't look like anything has been changed.
Questions:
-- Is there anything I can do besides uninstall / reinstall? Will that even help or is this a more basic issue on the mchine?
