Germany VAT xml file can not be uploaded to Elster

Hello,

we moved our accounting to Microsoft Dynamics D365 at July 2023 and now have to submit the VAT xml file to the tax office. The new localization for Germany is installed and the VAT xml file can be generated. However, when uploading to Elster we receive the error message /The endcoding format of the xml file must be ISO-8859-15/.

When I generate the VAT xml file I can show that the encoding format is /utf-16/.

Currently no VAT xml files can be uploaded in Elster.

Can someone help me ?

Hi,

You can convert the encoding format of the xml file to ISO-8859-15 in some file encoding conversion tools or websites.

Then, check whether it can be uploaded to Elster.
