Hi All,

I got this error message while trying to post transactions using the Bank transaction cash receipt entry window in Bank Reconciliation Module (A Save Operation on table 'CM_Receipt' failed accessing SQL data)

I will be very grateful if someone could help with a solution to this error message.

    Hi Joe -

    From the message, it appears the application lost connection with the SQL Server.   Have you logged out/in to Dynamics GP and attempted to post a CM Receipt again?

    If this error not solved. Please take a backup of your company database and try the below mentioned steps.

    1. Try to the same with sa user login.

    2. Run checklinks for both financial and sale series.

    3. Run a Grant.sql against the COMPANY database(this scrip is available in GP installed folder/SQL/Util).

    I received a similar error when using integration manager "A GET/CHANGE OPERATION ON TABLE 'CM_TRANSACTION' FAILED ACCESSING SQL DATA". Following the advice below, I logged in and out of GP. Upon logging back in I received a message that my password was expired. Updated my password and the integration worked. Thanks!
