Integration Manager - Is there to influence what lines in a file get added to PO first, second.

Noticed when importing POs that the text file records for a PO do not line up the same way when imported to a PO.

Issue:  Users add comment on PO line one in text file, however when imported, that line one in the file may end up as line 5 on the PO.

Cannot determine how import determines which line is one, two three  What is the sort order if not the record order in the text file?

What to control which text file line ends up as PO line #1.

I reviewed the purchase order integration destination mapping and did not see PO Line

as a field that could be mapped to.  That was my thought to use that field, but, it wasn't an option.

That why I then asked about the ability to sort, or set the data entry order when the file is integrated.

In case, we are on v7.5.  Not sure if POLine NMbr became available in more current versions.

You'd need to have a line reference on the source files which tie the comments to the line in the same way as you use the PO Number to tie the lines to the PO itself.

I'm guessing you do not have comments for each of the lines so you couldn't use sort order.
