How do I get more than 500 results in Visual Studio 2008 (BIDS/Report Designer)?

When I run my report within CRM I get all the results that the query should produce. But, when I am testing/previewing it in Visual Studio I only get 500 results. Does anybody know how to change this?

    David,

    As far as I know and have seen this is the limit for how many records can be returned.  I believe the FetchXML returns back the 1st page of results which with FetchXml is 500.  When the report is uploaded and executed from within CRM there is logic in that process that brings in the rest of the dataset.  I ran into the same situation when I first starting writing reports for CRM Online.

    I hope this helps,

    Jeremy

    Change our query to :

    <fetch distinct="false" count="5000" page="1" no-lock="false" mapping="logical">

    This will return 5000 record at a time

    Thank you,

    By adding count="5000" to my query it showed the remaining records that were missing when i was previewing my report in visual studio.
