managing contacts over organization business units

hello every body

I want to know best way for managing contacts , accounts,... over the organization. We have 3 business units and each has different contacts and also similar one. I want to know how to manage this in each BU. I dont want to each user see so many fields in data entry time because their Bu fields are different in some and similar in others.  How you manage this in your company?

    Hi,

    You could manage this with the help of security roles + multiple entity forms, so you can create  separate form based on the business and can assign security roles to that form so that only users with security role can use those forms. You can have your security roles based on the units.

    thanks for replying I am looking for something better if exists. because managing forms could be hard for switching . Are you using this in your company?

    The above idea based on the number of fields that you don't want to show to users, other option could be manage this using scripting hiding/showing fields.

    No, we did not face this kind of requirement for any client, it was just an options.
