Ax 12 POS select line in transaction product Grid(receipt) on itemid pragmatically

I am requiring option AX R3 POS to Search Item from Scanned Items List due to the high volume of items present in one transaction and it is very hard to search manually a specific item from Product Grid area.

In MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 currently the functionality to search item in scanned item list/Product Grid area is not available.

I have to go for customization ,please let me know in which POS Plug-ins Project I can do this customization.

For reference screen shot is attached and highlighted receipt grid area in red lins. Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated , I am searching this solution from previous 2 weeks but I found nothing 5340.333.png

Hi Hassan,

Some time ago ... I also tried to find a way to modify these main controls.

I have no found reference in the Retail SDK. I believe that these main controls are locked.

I managed to find some reference the properties of these objects "decompiler" the .dll POSProcesses. (TotalAmount and Receipt class in WinControls) however, we can not change these classes.

Alternatively, you can try to change the width / height of the columns/fields in AX Designer

Retail\Setup\POS\Screen Layouts\Designer

You can also check CustomField.cs , to assign values in the fields programmatically, open the Services solution (the services.sln file should be located in the C:\Users\[user]\Documents\Retail POS Plug-ins\Services directory).
