Serviceorders and Dispatch Board

Hi everyone,

I want all technicians from the workshop to work in the Dispatch Board so they can easily see what tasks they have.
If I want a technician to be able to filter by a specific Resource Group Code to view a certain type of service order,
how can that Resource Group Code be linked to the service order and service items so that all relevant orders are visible in the Dispatch Board?
I have the same question (0)

To enable technicians to filter by Resource Group Code on the Dispatch Board, link the Resource Group Code to the Resource card of each technician. Then, when creating Service Orders, assign the appropriate Resource (technician) to the service lines. The Dispatch Board reflects these assignments.

To ensure visibility by group, use Resource Filters on the Dispatch Board to filter tasks based on the Resource Group Code associated with technicians. There’s no direct Resource Group field on the Service Order, but grouping is achieved through the assigned resources.

    Hi,

To let technicians filter tasks in the Dispatch Board by Resource Group Code, you need to assign a Resource Group to each resource. Then, add a custom field on the Service Order to store that same code. There's no native link between orders and groups, so you’ll need to either fill it manually or use logic to assign it automatically. Once the field is there, make sure it's available as a filter in the Dispatch Board. If you're using standard BC, a small extension will do the job.

    Hello,

To enable technicians to filter service orders on the Dispatch Board by Resource Group Code, you need to link the Resource Group Code to the service order or by assigning it to the Resource lines on the Service Item Line or Service Lines. The recommended setup is to assign a Resource Group Code to each technician (Resource Card) and ensure the Service Orders or Service Items are tagged with the relevant Resource Group Code either via customization or by populating a custom field that maps the order to a group.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,
