How to Change Default Salesperson at Sales Order Entry?

Please let me know how I can change the default salesperson from being populated in the commissions window at the time I create a new sales order. It seems the system has been setup to always default to the same individual and I am not sure how to change it. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I believe this comes from Customer class, so changing there should resolve the issue.

Delete the Salesperson from the Customer Card if it's just for one specific customer.  If it's for a number of customers, delete it from the Customer Class and roll down the change to the Class members, as John suggests.

That didn't work but I think I found what seems to be causing the problem. The customer had multiple Ship To Addresses and each of those addresses had different sales people assigned to it.  Now, I need to figure out a way to mass change the salesperson for all of the Ship To Addresses to the individual that I want. Is that possible?

Yes, with Integration Manager, you could do a mass update by running an Update integration on the Address ID.  Or, you could do it very simply in SQL by updating the RM00102 (Customer Address Master) field (SLPRSNID) directly with the appropriate Salesperson ID.  Make sure you back up the database prior to making changes to the tables.

    Thanks, will try it!
