Dynamic Nav Client Components Fatal Error during Installation

Hi,i need help, i cant install Nav client into user laptop.

OS: Win7 Pro 32 Bit

Office 2007

After i encounter the issue, i tried,

- Repair NAV client, (Cant solve still same error)

-Uninstall NAV Client, and reinstall (Cant solve still same error)

Below is the installation log.

Which options have you selected while installing NAV2013?

Only RoleTailoredClient is enough for client machine..

yep, it looks like it is failing on the IIS setup which is the windows web server

I agree with Mohana, have a look at the installation options and only load the client config, if it needs to be a development machine firstly rather upgrade to a 64 bit OS as some of the NAV 2013 components need 64 bit, also install IIS from the operating installation disk

Only "Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5." is a mandatory requirement. If you try to reinstall only the NAV Client and it fails again, you should try to install it alone first.

I am having the same issue. Installed .net 4.5 separately. Tried installing only the NAV client.

Still fails as above on

NAV 2013 RTM

OS: Win7 Pro 64 Bit

Office 2010 32bit

Am trying reinstalling .net 4.5 from NAV DVD.

I am not selecting the WEB client so the IIS messages perplex me.

It might be that the Windows Firewall service is turned off. By default when installing NAV there is a setting to add an exception to the Windows Firewall and if the service is stopped then this will make the installation fail.

When installing the client, try to change ‘Add rule to Firewall’ to be ‘No’ on the parameters setup page.

It is because you selected install Web Server Components. In your case, just select install Client only!
