how to upload project beginning balance journal

Hi All ,

i want to upload project beginning balance journal using DMF , i dunno what entity i have to use?? i tried Project journal but it's for each journal separately ( Hour,Expense,.. etc) , so Is there entity for beginning balance? 

i check to upload using Excel add-on but i think there's something missing i dunno what is it , can you send me steps to upload this journal?

    Hi Noureldeen,

    AX does not have DMF entity for beginning balances out of the box, you have to build it.

    OKAY , what about excel add-on i found a table but still can't upload it with 0 successful & 0 failed Is there any thing i have to focus on?? a specific field esp. rec id is mandatory & transaction ID is an option too

    There are actually couple of table, however they have primary key - RecId. This means that you cannot use Excel add-on without table modification as well. Please see this blog post

    ax2012exceldataimport.blogspot.co.nz/.../dynamics-ax-2012-excel-add-in.html it has info how to change tables to overcome this issue.

    I used excel add on , Tables are Projbegbal_costSales & Projbegbal_fee.
