ReportCurrent Setup:
1. Item Model Group
-> Allow physical negative inventory = unchecked
2. Tracking Dimension Group
-> Serial Number Control = checked
->Serial Active= checked
3. Number groups
->Number Sequence No.=checked
->Only for Inventory Transactions=checked
->On physical update=checked
-> Per QTY= 1
->Purchase/Inventory/Production/Kanban Transaction= checked
Scenario:
1. Create Transfer Journal
Item A with 2 quantities
2. Reserve Item A 2 quantities
3. Pick Item A (Add picking list updates)
Auto pick of Serial Number
line 1 : Item A >SN-0001
line 2 : Item A >SN-0002
However these serials are override
line 1: Item A > SN-0001
line 2: Item B > SN-0001
3. Click Register All
4. Validate and Post
Normally, when this scenario is created an error will saying cannot picked because 0 on hand.
However, today no error appear as a result the item with serial number will cause a negative on-hand.
Can you help where did i go wrong or is there any remedy or setup needed?
