Hello,
Does the Back UP Company window in GP use COPY_ONLY when backing up the database? I want to make sure that customers and consultants are not breaking up backup chains if using this window when the customer is using the Full recovery model.

The Backup functionality in Dynamics GP uses whatever the backup in your SQL Server is setup to use, as that is what it is using and that is why you must be accessing Dynamics GP on the SQL Server itself, otherwise it won't work.
It should be no different than going into SQL Server Mgmt Studio, right-clicking on a database and choosing to back it up. The backup settings it is going to use are the default settings you currently have set, such as Full vs Simple recovery mode, etc.
