Client is upgrading workstations to Windows 10 from Windows 7. They are running SL 2011 FP1 and FRx 6.7 SP12, both in Windows Authentication mode. In the process of installing on the server, the installation of the SL client worked well. The FRx client install was not on the server, so they attempted to install the client from the FRx 6.7 CD. Subsequently, they kept being prompted for userid and password to access FRx. It was at this point that they contacted me.
My first observation was that the client install did not include SP12. I copied the client installation files to the server, uninstalled the client on the workstation and reinstalled using the SP12 client installation files. We are not getting the prompt for user and password; however, when we select a company, we are getting the following error: CheckOFSIConnection 5 Unable to create RDO environment. Check Systems tab in Company Information.
The ODBC clients are there (created by running a report in SL after deleting existing.) FRx runs fine on the server. Short of doing a full install on the workstation, does anyone have suggestions to try?
Thanks!
Stuart Nottingham
