Hi,
I am purchasing the assets of a business as a going concern in NSW, Australia. The operations of the business will not change but will have a new owner and ABN.
The business is currently using Microsoft Dynamics NAV which was purchased in November 2007 and upgraded to Dynamics NAV 2013 on Nov 2013 .
Do I need to do anything to transfer the license to the new company?
Best

Hi, you can try to submit a Service Request to Microsoft Support Teams.
In addition, NAV2013 will no longer support in Jan 10, 2023. I think you can consider upgrading to Business Central.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Rahman,
If I remember correctly, you will need to have the Partner of Record update the License to the new Business Name and they purchased 100% of the company. Your Partner will assist in completing this, however, being you are on NAV 2013 I am not sure what will happen since NAV 2013 is not being supported by Microsoft anymore, being such an old release.
Call your Partner and they will help you.
Thanks,
Steve
