I would like to make the Wall Activity Feed of my users even more useful by showing them the Description of say a Phone Call directly on the Wall. Is that possible?

If you are looking to change the layout/view of the posts then I am afraid it is not possible. If you realy need to do this then you need to create your own custom html web resource to retieve the details and then display it.
