Hi Everyone. Another newbie here, please have patience with me.
We are on GP7.5, upgrading to 10 in December. In the meantime, I am having difficulties restricting a user's access- in particular, not allow her to open new vendors in purchasing. I have tried changing the user group and the individual but neither seem to have any affect. Any ideas? - other than I don't know what I am doing...that's a given :-)

You can use Advanced or Standard Security to restrict access (Setup >> System >> Advanced Security or Setup >> System >> Security).
If you deny access to Vendor Maintenance in the Purchasing series, a user will not be able to create or modify vendors.
