
Just had a demo from a microsoft rep regarding fund accounting.
Using dimensions to track funds i can post incoming donations to a fund.
Using dimensions to track funds i can track out going spending to that fund.
the microsoft rep said that when you cross a year end and all the expenses move to retained earnings the analysis report would lose the record of that fund spending as the value is no longer in that account.
Does that sound right? Can an analysis report not cross a year end and see something like this;
