Manufacturer code in dimensions is not right

Hello guys,

maybe you can help me.

I have an item that has different default dimensions. One of them is the manufacturer code.

On the item have stored Microsoft there.

If I now create a new purchase line with this item and look at its dimensions via the "Dimensions" function, it does not have Microsoft as the manufacturer code, but the name of the vendor...!

This seems to be standard, but I can't find the place that is responsible for this anywhere.

I can't find anything in the OnValidate of the item number than in the OnInsert trigger.

Do you have any ideas?

Thank you very much.

Hello, I could solve my issue. Problem was that only one of my vendors has had a manufacturer code. All the others did not had. So I have deleted the additional dimension and I could ship the order ;) thank you.

Hi, is the same dimension set on other master data?

There are the following priority settings in NAV, if you do not set it, the one with the least table number will be used first.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

That is the code, where I get the wrong value from:

That are the dimensions of the item:

And that are the dimensions of the item after I have selected it in the purchase line:

The yellow position is the vendor and not Microsoft?!

Have you fill the dimension value code?

Same code was already chosen there. Nevertheless I was not able to find the code, where the dimension is set...

You need to set as Same Code on Default dimension page on the Item card, and then check when taking that item on Purchase line it should be there on Dimension page.
