Install and Configure Microsoft Dynamics AX cluster on AWS Cloud

Hi,

Could you please provide me with a solution to implement and configure Microsoft Dynamics AX cluster in Amazon Cloud. I am looking for a highly available solution in two Availability Zones

    Hi Tfaraj,

    You have to see how many and what type of VM's you need. This depends on the required sizing and indeed availability requirements. When the VM's are available you can start the installation of Windows, SQL server, Dynamics AX, etc just like described in the installation guide. The guide is not mentioning AWS, but if you have servers available, just follow the required steps.

    Basically I want to see if there is any limitations installing Dynamics Ax in two different Availability Zones? and if it is advisable to use RDS MS SQL instead of normal MS SQL Server?

    Hi Tfaraj,

    I'm not familiar with Amazon Cloud. So I don't know what RDS MS SQL would imply nor the concept of Availability Zones. I heard someone in the past having Dynamics AX installed on AWS, but I don't know any details.
