This occured because of permission issue for your system assembly folder. Try to uninstall GP 2013 web client as Administrator login.

    Hi Rana,

What was deleted from this machine? You could try using the following tool if it is a 64-bit machine:

    support.microsoft.com/.../Program_Install_and_Uninstall

    Hello,

I have this same plroblem. The program in the link did not work. Gave an error about itnot being comatible with my configuration .

I removed Windows Process Activation Services and IIS role while GP web client was still installed

I also tried running as admin but still got the same error. any ideas?

Hoping this is not production. You may need to start over on a new server.

Unfortunately it is. I tried something though which kind of worked.  I created a new website in IIS. then tried a repair of GP web client and it installed.

But I couldnt log in. I got this error on event viewer "An error occurred during session monitoring: Invalid Identity" just a summary.

Then I was able to uninstall and I reinstalled with a different domain account and I got the error below.

An error occurred during session monitoring: 'System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Login failed for user 'GP\webservice'. (Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'GP\webservice'

I am pretty sure the account is valid.

So I gave up. Simplly formated and reinstalled a fresh OS on the server

But in case someone else encounters the issue agin (I hope its not me) what do you think should be done?

    Thank you Jonathan

It is tough to say because I can't see exactly what is going on. But if you are unable to uninstall Web Client due to something being changed or removed someone may have no choice but to install Web Client on another machine or reinstall the OS as you did.
