Creating Inbound Journey with Immediate Response

Hi Everyone,

Currently experimenting with Inbound Journeys as described in Microsoft's Customer Engagement Docs and would like to see to following type of flow.

Marketing Page --> Marketing Email with Download Link.

My goal is to create a journey where upon form completion, a prospect will receive a link to content. The sooner the better.

I'm currently experiencing longer than expected delays (hours). Is this a bug or is it something we can adjust on our own?

    I too am experiencing 30 mins-hour delays with sending emails in Customer Journeys. Users are "Processing" for extended periods of time when others send just fine.

    I was told this is normal for Dynamics and to take this into consideration when scheduling campaigns. Which is absolutely ridiculous. I was also told in the next software update that it would be addressed, but that has come and gone, and been installed for us, to no fix.

    Hi,

    This is currently by design.  There are a good number of factors that influence how fast/when an email is sent from a customer journey.  That being said, we are continually working on performance improvements and you should see some of these coming into effect in the coming months.  I would suggest that you visit the Ideas Forum for Marketing and submit your request in this manner so it can be voted up.  The Program Management team reviews these frequently and they do influence what is prioritized/added as features for the product.
