Hi Guys,

Here is the scenario,

When an appointment is created for an account, if the account Manager is different than appointment Created by user, a notification mail should be sent to the Account Manager. I wrote the below Workflow.

The issue is the the workflow runs fine for me, but not for other user. The other user who tried has system admin role. If others run this workflow on demand it works.

RE: Notification Mail Using Work Flow

    Hi Ganesh ,

User as the scope, only the records owned by the current user are affected by the process even if the user has organizational-level access rights.

Business Unit as the scope which means  the workflow will only execute for the user’s Business unit.

Parent: Child Business Units as the scope  means the workflow will execute on records in the user’s business unit and records with ownership in a child business unit of the user’s business unit.

Organization as the scope means the  workflow will execute on any record in the organization secondary to the user’s security rights.

So I would suggest based on your requirement choose either organization or business unit or parent child business unit.

    Hope this helps.

RE: Notification Mail Using Work Flow

    Hi Ganesh,

By default the scope of the workflow will be set to User, so this needs to be changed to the Organization so that all the users how have the privilege to run the workflow can run this.

Please mark as verified if this solved your problem.

The scope of the workflow is set to user, so it will only run for you.  change the scope to organization and it will run for others.
