How to install a second AOS on the same server has already one AOS installed

What should I prepare before install a second AOS instance on the same server which has one AOS installed already.

I am running the AX install and getting this error for I don't know what instance name to fill in that you see from the enclosed image.

This is my first time and need some step-by-step installation to get this done.

Please point to any link i can learn about this.

Hi there,

Have a look on this blog article which describes you step by step approach to install AX 2012 daxdilip.blogspot.com.au/.../step-by-step-guide-how-to-install.html. For multiple AOS on one machine you just need to run setup and follow steps as mentioned in guide suggest by Andre.

I may be wrong but I think you are getting this error message because you click YES when the wizard ask you if you want to upgrade an existing AOS service. The pop-up shows up as soon as you select the AOS component in the component list and people just never read the message...

You must click NO.
