Hi - We are trying to enable Dual-Write for Dynamics 365 F&O and we have been following docs found here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/data-entities/dual-write/requirements-and-prerequisites

But we're having troubles installing Dual-write application orchestration found in step 7 in linked doc above.

and going back to the make.powerapps.com in the solution history we see failures that seems to occur at the same time whenever error above occurs.

The full error message for the FieldServiceCommon is the following

Solution manifest import: FAILURE: The following solution cannot be imported: FieldServiceCommon. Some dependencies are missing. Any helps as to why this is happening will be greatly appreciated.

were you using Trial env of powerapps, i got the same issue and got it fixed when turning to Trial(based on subscription). because this solution needs Fieldservice and Sales as a prerequisite to install the model.

As I see this so often I need to step in to point to one condition which needs to be taken into consideration every time the D365 for Sales app is required on Power apps environment. This is a dependency for Orchestration Solution for DW

when deploying the CDS (also recently named Dataverse) environment you need to enable the D365 apps. It will not work after the environment was already deployed

Hi Rah

Did you ever find out what the issue was. I got exactly the same issue. Is it perhaps a problem that D365 Sales is not installed. It seems to look for a lot of dependencies in a solution msdynce_sales.

Thanks to everyone who responded to this. I have opened a support ticket for Microsoft Support.

I have created a new environment and it the new is working without any issues with Dual Write. So it seems there is something wrong with the existing environment.

Also, couple of questions:

1. Are you starting with a clean slate of environment or you already have preview bits installed?

2. How did you initiate installations? Please start installing from here:

from here: appsource.microsoft.com/.../mscrm.finance-and-operations-with-common-data-service

Do you have any other ISV or custom solution installed into your environment? Sometimes dual write solution does not like to have customization done as part of other solutions.

Check if you meet all prerequisites. If so, I would suggest to create a ticket for Microsoft Support.
