Can not access the Power Query Editor when connecting to a D365 data source

Hello, I am not able to access the power query Editor when connecting to a D365 data source. 

When I click on edit with the D365 DataSource I am only able to select the various entities.

However, I am not able to access the Power Query Editor and for example choose between columns. 

How can I access the Editor for Dynamics Data sources?

    Yes, this is by design. it has to do with what we do behind the covers.  When you use a Power Query connector we pull a copy of the data on refresh into the data lake being used by Customer Insights.  When you use the "Connect to dataverse" we do not pull a copy, we only connect and get a temporary copy to use when you run Map/Match/Merge and then destroy the temporary copy.  

    When you use the Connect to Dataverse you will not get the Power Query editor.  If you want to limit the fields you do this in the Map phase (assuming this is contacts or some other table you will use in unification).
