AX 2012R3 Stage location not respect limit location setup

Hi everyone,

I'm struggling with some issue in AX, i made a limit location setup for locations linked to "Expedicao_200" to maximum of 01 "PL". I made one sales order with two lines, 1st for item 32052 for 160 "BD" (conversion unit for this item is 140 "BD" = 01 "PL") so this staging put transaction should take 2 locations. The second sales line is for item 32013 for 250 "BD" (conversion unit for this item is 231 "BD" = 01 "PL") so in my understanding the staging put transaction should take other 2 locations.

Can anyone help me to understand where my setup is wrong as the work transactions for staging put is putting both items and quantity in the same staging location "F-14-01-1"? AX shouldn't be using more locations?

    Hi Rafa Mazzetto,

This is because you have setup the location limit for Pallet unit and not for BD.

This will work if your work pick and put units are PL instead of BD and that will happen if you are selling full pallets.

I remember I faced the same issue in past and then later it worked as desired. I will test some scenario and revert soon.

Meanwhile try selling full pallet quantity and and work unit should come as PL.
