Hi all,

I want to ad new items and new price-lists via configuration packages.
1. But how does /line no/ works?
2. How am I supposed to know the last number?
3. Do I have to manually ad numbers in /line no/ or can I leave this field empty?
4. What happens if i leave it empty`?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

The line number will be unique for each price list and should always start from say 10000 as standard BC always increments in 10000.

In this example you can see that I have 3 sales price lists and the first item for each one starts with line number 10000 and then increased by the same value.  You must have a line number as this will be part of the primary key so if you leave blank then each record will overwrite the previous one for that sales price list and you will be left with one record.

    Hope that helps,
    Shauna

I think I have to disagree with the answer that Shauna gave you here.
I just did a test and for me it worked just fine to leave the line number blank when I imported new price list lines.
But it is important that you set it to empty and not to zero.
Zexro will be read as a valid integer value.
The import will add a line numer based on the auto split key feature that is used for these kinds of tables.
