GST issues - BC-online IN Localization to 20.2.41144.41547

Dear All,
I am facing a major issue after updating my BC-online IN Localization to 20.2.41144.41547.
The system does not calculate GST on sales order and sales credit memos when GST dependency is "Ship-to-address". In the case of intra-state GST on sales credit memo, the system is picking use case as " Export to SEZ/ SEZ Development /Deemed Export with Payment of Duty through Sales Return Order/ Credit Memo" whereas earlier system use to pick " Intra State Sales Return of Goods from Registered Customer through Return Order."

On sales order system has stopped calculating GST when GST dependency is "SHIP-TO-ADDRESS".

Did anyone face this issue?

    Hi Shailender Parmar ,

If it was calculating earlier, and stopped working after update, then you should raise a support ticket to Microsoft.

    Thanks.

    Hi Nitin,

    Thanks for your reply.

I have already raised a case with MS. I just wanted to check if anyone encountered the same issue.

    Thanks.

    All,

    This issue has been resolved.

Microsoft introduced a new field SHIP-TO-GST Customer Type on ship-to address card page. Earlier the system was used to calculate the GST but when this field was introduced then it was system requirement to update this field value and calculate GST.

We updated its value and did a refresh, and the system was able to calculate GST.

    Thanks,

    Shailender
