Send an email with template using workflow action to recipients passed as parameter to the action

On one of my form, the user should be able to send an email to specific users. To do that I have made a pop-up where the user can select the recipients (users of the CRM). When selected, the recipients are passed to a workflow action as parameter of type EntityCollection. Now I would like to add these entities to the send email step as recipients. Unfortunately I'm not able to select the argument and pass it to the recipient field of the email. Is there another way of doing it ?

    Hi Hubert,
     
    Can you please let me know where you send the list of recipients - to process (type = workflow) or to process (type = action)?

    If the second one, you need to create a plugin which will process this action and create a new email with the recipients from the received parameter of the entity collection type.

    I'm sending the recipients to a workflow launch by JS.

    I think you're right, the right way to do it, is to use a plugin to achieve that. 

    I have found a good way to send mail with template, it's shown here:
