Windows Updates on CRM server

Wondering if anyone a generic testing plan for a CRM server after applying windows updates? Currently on CRM2016 On-Premise. I'm new to my System Admin position and I just found out that no windows updates have been applied in the last 3 years. My may concern is testing the email router and other intergration with applications that connect to the CRM.

    Hi,

    I would look at the updates that are to be installed and then check them against the version of CRM,

    One thing I would be triple checking is any .Net Framework updates

    I have an idea of what updates I want to install. What concerns me is testing the CRM afterwards to ensure that the updates didn't break anything in the CRM.

    For that you really need to get the end to end user process and run through that after the updates.
