Placing customers on hold

Hi,

I am aware that there is a hold facility in Dynamics to place a customer on hold but is anyone aware of any software that can be bolted on which would allow you to place several customers on hold at once - like an addition to collections management of dynamics itself?

Open a list of customers on your desktop in the content pane (select Customers in the left navigation pane). Then enter filters to limit the list to those you want to hold. Now you can click the hold button without saving/searching each time.

Thanks for the reply Richard, that is a good suggestion but I was looking for something that would give more options on the selection criteria than is available from the customer list - is there a way that the filter options can be modified?

Hi Tracy,

If you have SmartList Builder this gives you access to the Navigation List Builder which allows you to make your own lists.

Hello Tracy,

If you use Collections Management, you can always run a Query. Then open the Collections Main card, view by the Query, and click Hold, Next customer, Hold, Next customer, etc. Not the fastest, but it will give you a powerful query to get things done fairly quickly.
