If Analytical Accounting has been enabled but we would still like to integrate transactions without Analytical accounting, is there any way we can do this without encountering the Open analytical accounting window error? The integration is trying to populate the analytical accounting window and getting stuck even if we use accounts that were not set up for AA.
I have read David's article from 2010, but wondered if there is any other supported methods available. (Plus I would not have the skills to do anything in VBA!) I am not sure I would want to turn off the posting to the AA tables, as I think that would cause a whole whack of other issues!
Thought anyone?
Thanks

I have the same question (0)I recently upgraded to GP 2015 from GP 2010 and ran into the same issue importing receivables cash receipts. Besides the D. Musgrave options, which are unsupported by MS, you can un-link the accounts that you are integrating to from the accounting class link (Cards>Financial>Analytical Accounting>Accounting Class Link) and see if that resolves it.
Our company wanted to keep the default AA records instead of no AA data so I ended up using SmartConnect to bypass that pop-up.
Another product that may also help you is Infinia Integrator. http://www.excelintegrator.com/copypaste-from-excel-to-dynamics which has an AA feature that works well.
