Hello, My question is, should we have an alternate administration user account set up for our administrators instead of using the SYSADMIN account?

Hi Harris
Yes you can. Please find below my blog for more detail.

Thanks
Hi Harris3563,
It is advisable to set up another administrative user so that you can change the level of their access in the future if needed.
Thanks. Is there documentation stating this somewhere?
Have you read the Microsoft Dynamics SL Security user guide? It is located in the root folder of your SL installation in the User Guides folder. You need to install the user guides in order for them to be accessible in that folder. It discusses general security guidelines, including not assigning more rights to a user than necessary. Since the Sysadmin roll has all rights, you wouldn't want that roll exploited.
Hi HAris,
Using the below link, You can download the documentation regarding detailed Setups for Users, Groups, Defining access, etc.,
drive.google.com/.../edit
Hope this helps you.
