Director Budgeting and Planning reports for 2 positions, one to CFO and one to CCO. has some employees belonging to CFO and some to CCO. how to make the hierarchy in such a way that employees working under CFO workflow get assigning to CFO and employees coming under CCO, it gets assigned to CCO in relation to Director Budgeting and Planning.
Currently all employees under director budgeting and planning reporting is set to Chief Financial Officer.
Same position reporting for 2 different positions workflow
Dear ZvikaR, thank you for the good suggestion, we assigned two positions for same person, each position contains it's own subordinates, however when worker from position B submits a workflow it picks the hierarchy to of A instead of B as A is the primary position, positions does not affect the hierarchy.
Same position reporting for 2 different positions workflow
Hi EagleClaws,
I have some questions to be able to understand the full scenario before making a suggestion. When you talk about workflows, are the "CFO" workers and "CCO" workers participating in the same workflow? Is the director B&P then also one of the approvers or not?

Thank you for the reply Waed, all positions reporting to Director Budgeting
Director Budgeting reports for two positions, in system we had to set the reporting for one position as it's not possible to assign for two positions.
Director Budgeting manages two divisions with different positions, each division CXO is different, we want the workflow hierarchy to assign workflows related to each division to it's respective CXO.
In system we can't assign Director Budgeting for 2 positions and, we just need the workflows to go to the relevant CXO.

Hi,
On each position for each employee, you should fill the report to position with the correct value, the employees who refer to CFO should has CFO position on the report To position.
Thanks,
