How can we link negative and positive adjustment?

We have KIT-s (Created by us) and we want to trace movements (negative and postive adjustment).

For example:
We have a Product 0001 (water 1L), and we do a negative adjustment to convert in 3 new products 0011(water 500ml), 0012(water 350ml), 0013 (water 150ml). We need to link them to have the traceability.

Is it possible?

Best regards,

Proquinorte team.

I do not have experience with kits, but I know that you can use the Applies-to Entry in the Item Journal to link a neg and pos adj.

if you use item journal to simulate production such as positive adjust in 3 new items and negative adjust out 1 item, I don't think there is a link. you can use document no. posting date, description etc to serve such purpose, which might not be ideal.

if you have manufacturing module, then consider to use production orders but BC doesn't not support one component to many products scenario out of box. There is workaround or customization which needs to work with your partner.
