Hi Rob, do appreciate your valuable support.
GP Workflow should have no dependencies on these tables, but remember to backup your db's anyway!
You'll want to delete any table in DYNAMICS that starts with Mbf. Make sure you take backups during the process of course! After removing the tables, try to install again. Since those tables no longer exist, it should be treated as a new install.
I think someone tried to install BP few years back. Kindly do you have a list of these tables to remove from SQL?
It appears that your last installed version of Business Portal was 2.5. BP 4.0 and 4.0 SP2 only support upgrading from BP 2.7 and 3.0. Were you actively using Business Portal, or had someone just installed it in the past to try it out? If it's the latter, you could just clean up your environment (delete some sql tables, make sure SharePoint is ready, etc.) and install BP 4.0 SP2 new.
Ver_Major = 2, Ver_Minor = 5
What are the values in the Ver_Major and Ver_Minor?
Hi Rob,
This this the listof features exist in MBFInstalledDatabases table,
Business Framework
GP
GP_COMMON
GP_CONT_NOTIF
HRM_CORE
PD_GP_COMMON
PD_GP_SPECIFIC
PD_GP_V7E
PD_HRM_CORE
PD_HRM_CORE_UI
REPORT_CAT
REQUISITION
Have you ever had BP installed in your environment? I'd recommend looking at the DYNAMICS..MBFInstalledDatabases table if it exists. It lists the features that have been installed previously so that they can be updated.
