The "Preview" button also doesn't appear in Microsoft "Edge". When I use IE, I see it.
When I go to Finance | Report | G/L Register and click on Preview (for a batch), I get a "preview" that shows me a one line summary for the batch. When I click the "save" icon (and save it as a pdf) I actually get to see what is in the batch. I don't seem to be able to find any other way to get the batch detail to display on my screen.
Oh well, two steps forward--and one step back...
Aha, When I use Internet Explorer I do see the preview button. I have been using Chrome where the Preview button does not display.
I assume this will be fixed?

What browser are you using? Did you try IE?
Thank you for this additional screen shot showing that the Preview button is missing. That is unexpected. I have a few additional questions related to your environment:
1. Do you have any other companies available to you in Dynamics 365 for Financials? If so, is the Preview button available in those companies?
2. Is the Preview button available for the other Financial Statements--Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc.?
3. Do you have any Extensions included in this environment? To see these, from the Business Manager role (home page), click Services & Extensions, and then choose Extensions. What do you have listed here on the Installed Extensions page?

I have taken another look and the Preview option isn't there on the request page...
Even if I expand the request page, the preview button does not appear.

I am curious to know if you don't have the Preview button just to the right of the Send to... button at the bottom of the Edit - Cash Flow Statement page:
The Send to... button will always send to a file. The Preview button in the above page is the only one which will allow you to get to the Print Preview that you showed in your communication.
Are you perhaps missing this Preview button?
