FIXED ASSET SCRAP IN ERROR

Hello there, Please I have a requirement to bring back assets that have been scrapped. Is there a way to do this in batch. I have about 668 assets that I need to return the status from scrapped to Open.

I have tried to go through the "Retrieve fixed asset transactions"in the Fixed asset journal. but upon validating the system shows "The fixed asset with status Scrapped cannot have transaction type Disposal - scrap"

Any pointers will be appreciated

I have the same question (0)

There is no way to do this in batch.  Your best option might be to re-import the assets and reacquire them at their previous value.

Thank you Frank, I have been able to go to the book transactions and reverse the scrap transaction, this, in turn, opens the books. But I am hoping there is a way to reverse it in bulk without having to do this for all the assets. I have 668 assets I need to do this for, because I absolutely need to have the assets referencing the books that were scrapped

Thanks Amith, I saw the article but I am not sure, it points to how to do same for batch. If you have any pointers, it will be most welcome
