I understand that MS Forecaster is being phased out. Can anyone recommend another Forecasting tool that can be used with GP?
Thanks,

I would still recommend Forecaster - atleast for the next few years as it is being integrated with Management Reporter -

Instead of releasing a separate integration for Microsoft Forecaster, we are going to deliver a tool that pushes Microsoft Forecaster data back into the general ledger. Once data is in the general ledger, Management Reporter can pull this data to create budget to actual reports.
Along with these enhancements, bug fixes will also be included in Feature Pack 1.

Ok thanks much Jivtesh.
MS Forecaster is not being phased out.
With the release of Management Reporter for Dynamics ERP, Microsoft has taken the first step in creating a Dynamics only replacement product for Microsoft FRx. It's also the first step in a more comprehensive performance management product offering. The current plan by Microsoft is to add budgeting/forecasting functionality to Management Reporter in future releases. At some point Management Reporter will replace both FRx and Forecaster and there will likely be a data migration untility to help Forecaster users move to Management Reporter. This is at least 2 years away.
Forecaster will eventually be replaced by Management Reporter, but it's not being phased out. And as we've seen it takes a considerable amount of effort to replace a product such as FRx and Forecaster will be at least as difficult for Microsoft to re-create all the functionality.
as a side note....Those users of non-Dynamics ERP systems will see Forecaster (and FRx) taken off their price lists, as Microsoft is no longer interested in helping competative ERP sytems be successful. This is likely where that rumor comes from. For these non-Dynamics ERP system users there's an end in site, but even for these folks - Forecaster will continue to receive service packs for years to come, and there are Support options available through 3rd parties.
