Hi Community,

I understand that there are some things you can do w/o a Developer license.

I want to improve and learn how.

Please advise the steps to insert Purchase Order Archive into one of my user/ User roles without the need of a developer license.

Thank you!

Yes, so you need to use the way I mentioned above to run the command to open the edit mode manually.

Hi Zhi Yun, for mine as it is Navision 2018, I think it can't allow me to customize the profiles.

As far as I know this is not needed as I also opened without a development license.

In addition, this has become a standard feature in BC.

    Hi Zhu,

May I ask does this configuration mode requires Developer license?

    Thank you!

Hi, You can use the following method to modify the Profile (Role) used by the user.

Configuring a Profile with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows client in Configuration Mode

    Hi Zhu,

For some reason, my user with a specific user personalization was not able to access the Purchase Order Archive when she do a search. I tried and also realize that the particular User Personalization does not allow her to access it.

Hence I want to add the page to her role.

    Thank you!

Hi, You can use Save as view feature to add this page to your Role Center. This does not require a development license.

    For example, to Home tab.

Give it a name, and select Activity Group.
