Hello All,

I have multiple contacts with same name but inside it

all data like invoice, order, opportunity, generic info. ....etc are different.

I want to merge all similar contacts into one record and make it a single.

Can any one suggest me how to do it in 2011 on-premises environment.

    Hi Tin,
In a Contact view, select (tick) both records to be merged.

Click the Merge button on the menu bar.

    7180.merge.PNG

Sect which of the records to be the Master, then click OK.

    3603.master.PNG

The records will be merged and the subordinate record will be deactivated. All invoices and orders etc will appear under the Master record. You can merge several records under the one master, but unfortunately you must merge them one at a time (i.e. you cannot have more than two records selected when you click the merge button).

    Good Luck.

    HI,

you need to select the contact records that you want to merge, and  after selecting the records click the Merge button on the top. The contacts will be merged.

    Best Regards

    Shah
