The invoice consolidation feature is not available as standard.
This feature was released in hotfix rollup 6 but it is country-specific update for Japan.

Is there any work around to combine multiple invoices from sales orders AX 2009 into one invoice or if there any hotfix for our region.

Why do you need it? Is there any particular business requirement for it ? I think once it is invoiced we can not change it.

We have same requirement. We have remote sites and need to consolidate(combine) the invoices into one document for export purpose. It is just easier to send one Invoice with one shipment cross border.

Multiple Invoices can be combined in AX2009. If you go to post the invoices under the periodic folder, use the select button to select the multiple sales orders. On the Other tab, change Summary update for to Invoice Account, then select the Arrange button. It will post as one Invoice.

Michelle, Did you try it before because this process works for creating consolidated invoice against multiple packing slips.

I also followed your steps again but did not work for me.

Yes, I test on both our current 3.0 environment and our Vanilla AX2009. Had the Quantity Parameter set to Packing Slip. These settings can also be set as default in the AR Parameters on the Summary Update tab. Notice the 3 seperate Sales orders on the Invoice below.

No, I do not believe that the original poster's intent was to combine already posted invoices. He will need to clarify. Also, Pieter sounds as though he desires this for export shipments. Which in that case he can set the Summary update on specific customers so that only those consolidate.

We Invoice per Purchase Order received, Then we need to consolidate the individual Invoices on one summary invoice before sending it cross border. The summary Invoice must display the individual Invoice number with each and every line item.
