Hello All,

Greetings for the day!!

While Creating the Interaction, in the "What is the Type of Interaction" field it is asking for Attachment.

Can you please tell me, What is the use of Attachment file in the Interaction Templates?

    The attachment is for the use of a Word template (although, it could potentially be any format) that can be sent as part of an outbound interaction such as Business Letter, e-mail, etc. If using Word, there is support for Mail-Merge functionality where placeholders can be replaced with values from NAV.

    Similar capability is also available in the Campaigns / Segments functionality.

    That said, it's very rare for anyone to use attachments from NAV, because there are measuring / tracking tools that can show you how many people clicked / opened, etc. I find that more people favor a true marketing service like ConstantContact, MailChimp, etc. to send such outbound communications and track its reach and success.
