Cant create new company in production. OK in the sandbox

Hi everyone.

This client has recently purchased Business Central Essential licenses. It is in the cloud. I am using one of the licensed users, this user has SUPER assigned to it. Things look all good in the sandbox but we seem like locked out of production.

We are able to get to the production environment. Over there we find the Chronus and the client's company. Setup is flagged as complete for the client's company. If I switch to Chronus, I am able to use Business Central in production. If I switch it to the client's company then we get access to no menu, no form. What we get, when in the Business Manager role, is a message saying "Thanks for choosing to explore Dynamics 365 Business Central!"

It feels like Business Central understands that trial has ended in production and no subscription was purchased. I don't know if there was a trial first but I do know that licenses have been acquired.

Has anybody else seen something similar to this?

Thanks.

    Hi Roque

The first thing to check is that users have been assigned the licenses.  I don't know the exact steps to do that, but our Office 365 admin has to assign those licenses in our organisation.

    Cheers

Have you assigned the BC license in the office 365 ? Does the user have super access to that company ( or no company filter ) ?

It turns out that there was an error in the provisioning of Business Central. It is not totally clear what the problem was. It has something to do with BC being created in the same database as Microsoft Invoicing. MS is now working on a fix, which is to migrate the BC production instance to another server. Thanks for those who took the time to respond. Cheers.
