Understand User License in F/O, Procurement, HR in D365

Hi All,
 
I have assigned the E5 Office 365 license to the user, for Accounts Payable, Receivable, Procurement and Sourcing, and many other modules. We havent assigned any license for the user from the Finance and Operations Module or SCM licenses  but wanted to know how the license is utilised on D365. Appreciate if someone could explain me in simple terms.
