    Hello ,

This is simple- login to XRM tool box and go to sitemap editor , find the  area which you want to hide and disable or delete the area. Which will be hide your area from navigation.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey there,

if its dynamics 365 - i doubt if you will be able to use XRMtoolbox as it doesnt support it fully : community.dynamics.com/.../editing-sitemap-in-dynamics-365

    Hello ,

This need to be done by using security role . Following are the step -

    - > Create an entity ,

    - > Give the entity privileges for the specific user assigned security role , lets say give the write access.

--> Go to site map editor , rigth click on area and add privileges .

--> In the privileges checked the write privileges

By doing above now the user who don't want to see the area you need to maintain a security role which does not have any write privileges for that entity .

    Hope this helps.

As Gautam explained you ,Create a Custom Entity and Security Role to hide Area for some Users.Let you have Created a entity  HideArea and Security Role HideAreaRole. Now update Security Role with user level Read Privilege  for HideArea entity .Using XRMTOOLBOX ,add Privilege for Area and Publish.

If you want to show hide Area for a particular User or Team ,associate HideAreaRole .
