GP allows to generate default distribution from a various window.
i.e. Payable Transaction Entry Distribution window, Purchasing distribution Entry window, etc..
Is that possible to generate same by using econnect's storeprocedure. by passing minimum information.

Got the fix.. cant believe this..
under taPMTransactionInsert sp. there is parameter called "CREATEDIST" if I pass 1 then it should auto create distributions.

Thanks for the quick reply. let me try with econnect integration and will let you know. By the way so far I am creating transaction from my application directly using store procedure of eConnect. that's the reason I was looking for something at SP level which creates distribution automatically.
Actually I was trying to bypass implementation of distribution from my application because I knew that its too complicated to implement.
I believe it will, based on my experience with SOP. The whole point of econnect/IntegrationManager is to create the transaction, without knowing the complicated distribution rules, and letting the GP API handle the complicated stuff.

Yes you can use the econnect stored procedures to import an AP transaction, and the distributions will default. This is not an easy task mind you. I have only used econnect to import SOP invoices and IV adjustments, not AP. But it should be similar: start transaction, create the detail lines then create the header, commit, if you hit errors roll it back.

You will be able to see these Procedures under the Installation Folder Path of eConnect.

Yesterday I have noticed that in DynamicsSecurityConsole there is an option available that if we create an invoice through web service then they allow us to generate distribution automatically.
So, I thought there might be some way to achieve same by using econnect or its store procedure.
no, not after the transaction has been imported. use a gp macro to click the default button for multiple records.
