    Hi Narendra,

Do you mean by data import?

Hi Erry Thanks for the quick reply

Yes  data import only but need to do from plugin.

I have the updated data in excel and need to update the records in crm by using a plugin only.

    Regards,

    Narendra

    Hi Narendra,

I hope you are using CRM on premise version, if not then you need to use workaround.

    1. Create custom workflow to update flag on third entity.

    2. On update of that flag you can execute plugin.

    3. Add that excel file as attachment in same entity.

    4. From there you can map with CRM and create records using plugin...

    Hope this helps!!!

    Regards, pravin

    Hi Narendra,

When you import excel file to Dynamic CRM, it will trigger the plugin. But it's not the other way around. If you want to do it, I believe there is no this feature in CRM except you create custom application (upload your excel, then after upload you read one by one your data and handle CRUD for Dynamic CRM inside your custom application).

    Hi Narendra Dynamics Consultant,

Why do you need to import the Excel data into CRM using a Plugin? You should consider using a data migration tool instead of a Plugin for this task.
